New French oak 25 day maceration, malolactic fermentation, 18 months aging. Dark red color. Dominant black currant and blackberry aromas, with hints of mint and smoke. Mouth is juicy and full of blackberry, prune and dried fruits, backed by tobacco, toasted herbs and oak. Long lingering finish with dry fruit and savory tannins. Grilled pork, lamb and aged cheese. Recommended decanting 1 hour prior. Best served at 65-66°F
